Now That’s A Cover!
Above is the second New Yorker cover by Victor Bobritsky (out of a total of seven). A beaut! His one and only New Yorker drawing appeared in the very next issue (May 15, 1926):

His A-Z Entry:
Victor Bobritsky (Vladimir Bobri) Born, May 13, 1898. Died, Rosendale, New York, November 3, 1986. New Yorker work: one drawing, May 15, 1926. Seven covers. Link to his Wikipedia entry.

Wow, that drawing is fantastic. It’s interesting to note that Robert Flaherty’s documentary “Nanook of the North” which touches on the same subject came out only 4 years before this drawing, so perhaps it was an influence.
