Upcoming: Three New York Screenings Of Liza Donnelly’s “Women Laughing” Documentary Film
Liza Donnelly‘s short documentary film Women Laughing will screen in three places this coming March. There’ll be panel discussion following each screening (the various participants are listed below)
From the film’s website:
“Inspired by her acclaimed book Very Funny Ladies and Liza’s own biography, the film also looks back at the fascinating history and evolution of single panel cartoons- from the 1920s, to the present- and reveals how far women have come in a field historically dominated by men.”
